MEETING | Minutes
Attendance: Andrew Glickson, Sheldon Miller, Louis Schulman
The meeting was called to order at 9:05 A.M.
Mr. Schulman provided an update on the pulse point project. Attorney Sumberg has filed a motion for a change of venue from Litchfield to Stamford or Fairfield.
Mr. Schulman went over several settled grievances including a recent arbitration which was found in the District’s favor.
Mr. Schulman reported that the Westport RTM has reinstated full funding to the Westport Transit District for next year’s operating budget.
The Commissioners reviewed the Norwalk Transit District’s operating budget requests to ConnDOT for the coming fiscal year.
Mr. Schulman pointed out that the trees in front of the building have been trimmed and that the trees along the side of the building will be trimmed later in the fall.
The Commissioners reviewed the preliminary review of the bids from contractors interested in providing door to door services for the District.
Mr. Schulman said that all bike rack purchased for Greenwich and Westport have been delivered.
The commissioner had a preliminary discussion of salary increases for non-unionized employees for the coming fiscal year.
Mr. Schulman indicated that the specifications for new security cameras for the District’s building are almost complete.
