Notice of Public Hearing

Proposed Fare Increase and Service Reductions
Effective January 1, 2017

Norwalk Transit will receive public comment on the service reductions, route eliminations, fixed route fare increase, introduction of new timed passes, and ADA/Door-to-Door fare increase.  The Norwalk Transit District will hold public hearings on:

  • Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Community Room at SoNo Community Center, 98 S Main St, Norwalk, CT
  • Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Community Room at City Hall, 125 East Ave, Norwalk, CT

Those wishing to provide written testimony may send their comments by October 21, 2016 to info@norwalktransit.com or write FARE AND SERVICE CHANGES, Norwalk Transit District, 275 Wilson Ave, Norwalk, CT 06854.

Meet with transit staff on the following dates to discuss the proposed changes in detail:

  • Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 10:00 am to Noon in the Community Room at SoNo Community Center, 98 S Main St, Norwalk, CT
  • Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Community Room at City Hall, 125 East Ave, Norwalk, CT
