Drivers 
The Norwalk Transit District welcomes applications for driving positions year round. When drivers are needed, either for our fixed route services or our shuttle and door-to-door services, we schedule a test and invite all those who have submitted an application since the last test. After training, most drivers start as part-time employees and are offered full time jobs as they become available.

Diesel Mechanics 
The Norwalk Transit District welcomes applications for mechanics year round as well. There are five levels of maintenance personnel so there is ample room for advancement in our state of the art facility.

ADA Specialist

The Norwalk Transit District is hiring for immediate opening for ADA Operations Specialist.

The ADA Operations Specialist supports operations to insure effective, safe and efficient transit service is provided throughout the Norwalk Transit District service area. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, all functions related to responding to customer service complaints and compliments and performing clerical support duties and taking ADA reservations. Specialized services include ADA certification processing and interviews.
